According to level 1 Covid Regulations, only 90 people per Mass can be accomodated. Kindly ensure to book early.

PLEASE NOTE:
Until further notice there will be no bookings for masses (with the exception of Funerals and Weddings). Parishioners will be seated on a First come first serve basis. Once the church is full parishioners will be requested to be seated outside.
Please arrive 30 minutes before mass starts in order for all Covid Protocols to be attended to. If you arrive after mass has started, please be seated in the allocated chairs provided so that you do not disturb mass proceedings.
Please ensure that you sanitise before entering the church and that your mask is worn at all times.

2022 Catechism Registration
Registrations for catechism classes will take Place on Saturday 15 January and again on Saturday 22 January in the hall @ 66 Nelson Road Booysens. From 9.30 to 14.00.
All covid protocols will apply.
Registration fee is R100.00 per child per annum.
When registering you will be given bank details and we kindly request that you make payment via EFT, and to please email proof of payment to the email addresses on payment detail form.
Parents please ensure that your children are registered for classes on the dates above.
As we are happy to announce that face to face Catechism classes will commence on 5 February 2022 at 66 Nelson Road Booysens.
we would like all registrations completed when classes commence on the date mentioned above.
All covid protocols will apply at classes.

Church grants plenary indulgence for year of St. Joseph
The Apostolic Penitentiary issues a Decree granting plenary indulgences for the year of St. Joseph proclaimed by Pope Francis on Tuesday. The special year will last from 8 December 2020 to 8 December 2021.
Latest information
With effect from the 27th September 2020, parishes can open doors for the public celebration of the Holy Eucharist, with maximum of 250 people inclusive or 50% of the normal capacity of the church. We also need to take into consideration the 1,5m distancing guidelines.
RCIA and other faith formation programs at the parish may resume in the New year of 2021, except for the First Holy Communion Class and Confirmation class of 2020 that needs to receive the sacraments this year, can resume immediately. ( Further details will be communicated by the Catechist Co-Ordinator )
May resume, adhering to public health hygiene and protection of those particularly vulnerable to COVID19 and allowing no more than thirty (30) people at a baptism ceremony. ( Communication on the Baptism of infants will be communicated in due course, kindly visit our social media platforms for further details.)
Are permitted as per the directive of the government, with the restriction of 100 people allowed in the CHURCH, except for COVID19 related deaths, where the corpse does not enter the church building due to serious hygiene reasons.
Taking the above into consideration, please note the following: Maximum number of people that can attend each mass, taking into consideration the social distancing – Robertsham : 72 & Booysens: 25
Baptism talks for November will take place on the 23rd and 24th November with baptisms taking place on Saturday 28th November
Baptism talks for December will take place on the 14th and 15th December with baptisms taking place on Sunday 20th December

- Parishioners to please arrive 30 minutes before Mass starts, this is to allow for registration and taking of the temperature.
- Only Parishioners who have booked for Mass are allowed in the church.
- Kindly report to the COVID-19 station at the entrance of the church.
- Have your temperature taken and recorded.
- Sanitize your hands.
- Masks must always be worn.
- Ushers on duty will show you where to sit.
- The gates will be closed 10 minutes before Mass starts.
- Kindly familiarize yourself with all the COVID-19 posters displayed.
- Place all paper towels and tissues in the bins provided.
- If any member of the family is or has been ill with the flu or stomach ailments, PLEASE STAY AT HOME.
- Parishioners with COMORBIDITIES1 and the SICK are strongly advised to stay at home.

Parishioners can book for someone else in need.
Once your booking form has been received, you will receive an E-mail/SMS/Call confirming
the date allocated to you, by Friday each week.
The booking for each weekend Mass will close 14h00, every Thursday.
